This book is about a boy named Jacob he discovers a time loop where peculiar children live in.

5.Summary

  

a.Beginning:

Jacobs grandfather dies and tells him " find the bird in the loop on the island" then Jacob sees a monster his friend doesn't see it though. Jacob convinces his dad to go to the island were his grandpa grew up in. When they first get there they figure out there staying in the only place  in town with a phone. It is called the "piss hole" and he had called it before but wasn't able to talk long. 

b. middle:

The peculiar children are seen in the old broken down house he recognizes them from the photos. He chases after them and stumbles into the loop. Emma thinks hes a white but Millard trusts him. They get into some trouble and Emma and Millard use there power's.  A white gets lead into the loop and captures miss.peregrine they get her back but she is not able to turn back into a human because she is injured. 

c. end:

They ride of in a small boat in search of the whites. The ending is not very satisfying but there is always the second book!
